ABOUT US

Chancery started out in 1981 as Hunter & Co, but has been in its present form since May 1997. Since those early days Chancery has developed into a growing concern with 52 members of staff and is now one of the largest accountants and tax planners in the Milton Keynes area.

Since inception Chancery’s principal focus has been on tax mitigation, but in combination with a strong audit and accountancy practice, we provide a large set of tools to clients to increase wealth.  The growth has been obtained by client recommendation, considerable energy and drive from Peter Nichols, our senior partner, his wife, Kathryn and a committed team of professionals.

The quality of service, which naturally underlies this successful practice, arises because of our strong technical abilities in the tax planning industry and also because of the specialist skills of partners with whom we work.  We are very much a national practice, but with a strong Milton Keynes base.  We have all the benefits of working from a single office, leading to strong integration between our departments to deliver the best service to clients.
